WHAKAAHUA | PHOTO Blog Gadget

Today in our Cybersmart lesson we created a quality blog post with our "About Me" Google Drawing that we started last week.  This is part of our learning about what information we can share online. We also need to have this information on our blog so readers know a bit more about us.

We learned how to start a new blog post, how to add a title to our blog post, how to put the labels on and how to embed our digital learning object using the HTML code.

After we had published our blog post we commented on other blogs.
We knew who to comment on by looking at our blogging teams.
You can see our blogging teams on our class site here.

Our mahi is in a blog post and is now in our WHAKAAHUA | PHOTO gadget as well. It is in the gadget so that it shows at the top of our blog all the time.

Here is a snip of Cooper's WHAKAAHUA | PHOTO gadget.

You can view our work on our blogs.

Our blogs are all listed in the right hand side of this blog.
Scroll down until you see ĀKONGA | STUDENTS.
Click on a name and it will take you to the blog.

Online Profiles

This week in our Cybersmart lesson we get our on blogs!

We accepted an invite to be an author and so now we can start sharing our learning on our blogs.
We created an online profile with our photo to go in the side bar under WHAKAAHUA | PHOTO.

Here is Jacqueline's profile ready to embed next week.

Lacey's Toy Making

Lacey has spent some of her lockdown time making toys for her baby sister. She has made a Slidedeck so we can see how it is made. She has written some very clear instructions with pictures so we can see what is happening.

This is awesome work Lacey.

Last weeks   lockdown writing activity  was to tell us a recipe that they had tried. We have some great chefs in Room 9. Here are the yummy sounding recipes that children have shared.

I wish we could have taste testing too, they sound delicious.
